I wanted to lend a hand to those looking at Las Vegas for a vacation Location. Vegas is a great place to go, not only is there tons of stuff to do, you can do it on a budget!

A 9 HOUR TOUR
My first trip to Las Vegas will be something that I will never forget. Its one of those cities that you hear about your entire life. Everyone always has some little story, and all kinds of advice about what to do in Las Vegas.
Being originally from Oklahoma, I've lived in many places throughout the United States. I've lived in the largest of cities and the not so large ones as well. From all of this I can now take advantage of being able to go to a new place, having an open perspective and the ability take it all in with my own eyes.
On my first adventure out to Sin City, my best friend and I flew out and met my parents for a couple days of needed vacation. As our airplane arrived, we could both could see the las vegas strip directly out of the airplane window. The energy started to build in me, and the tiredness of air travel washed away. I was truly excited to see this city for the first time.
We continued on to the Hotel to meet my parents for dinner. My mom looked in my eyes and said so what do you think, all i could say is wow. I kept thinking to myself, l can not believe that this place is this big. I could have never imagined the vast size of the casinos, and hotels actually are.
The dinner with my parents that night will be one I will never soon forget. We stat and talked about all the different types of people that you can see, and how that is just as amazing as the beautiful sites and sounds of the Las Vegas strip.
Dinner was over and as we walked my mom and dad back to their room we past a show girl, she was dressed head to toe with a full feather head-dress. My dad turned to us and says, "Hey, do you boys want to get a picture with the parrot?" Knowing my father, as a reserved man, that joke made our trip start off with a great laugh.
We said our good byes and left my parents, now we are on our own adventure. I looked at my best friend and said, "here we are, lets go do it."
7:30pm, we walked out of the door of the beautiful Stardust Hotel. We walked passed their famous sign of lights, and begin to make our way to the south end of the Las Vegas strip. We had never seen any of Las vegas before so we went from one Casino to the next Casino checking everything out. We walked most of the distance of the strip and Ended up at New York New York, casino and hotel. We spent some time in there and got a bite to eat and headed back.
Never did I think that the Las Vegas Strip was as long as it is. We began to make our way back to the Stardust Hotel. We walked and walked, finally arrived around 4am just in time to make our way up to some needed rest.
We woke up the next day, legs and feet both sore from our last nights journey. We find a map in a local magazine, and estimate we walked a good 10 miles in one night. Not for the weak of heart, but it was the best way to see Las Vegas!
